TAG MAKING with JUST US GIRLS!

I don't know if you've heard this about me before or not... I LOVE hostessing

a good, old fashioned WILD CARD challenge at Just Us Girls headquarters.  

HOWEVER, we, the girls of JUST US...  have noticed that lots of darling 

crafty folk THINK we mean "make ANYTHING" and link up with us....  

Woopsie!  What we MEAN is...  the lucky HOSTESS gets to choose something

DIFFERENT than our usual choices of SKETCH, TECHNIQUE, COLOR &

PHOTO...  That's WHY...  I LOVE it SO!  As MOST of us craft-crazy-lovin'

types KNOW...  there are so, so, soooooooo MANY cool things to do with 

our tools AND supplies...  So, HERE I am!!!!!  Ready to TAG-UP!

 And, you MIGHT have already noticed/guessed...  I got a wee-bit carried away...

Being that I'm hoping you'll make a minimum of 4, but if you're ANYTHING 

like me...  YOU might become EXTREMELY addicted...

I started with a FANTASTIC tag die from Wplus9, and a generous pile of "blanks".

THEN, I mixed in one of my VERY most favorite in the WHOLE wide universe,

element sheets from COSMO CRICKET...  Garden Variety!  {Can you imagine?}

Hee Hee!  I LOVE those things!  And THIS was SUCH an excellent way to 

dump a WHOLE sheet of the double sided elements - featuring MOST of 

them in ALL of their juicy splendor...  LOOK at the original angry birds! 

Combined with ALL kinds of Wplus9 sentiment stamps, a minimal amount

of additional materials - and a smattering of OLD tackle!  Yup - broke out 

some FANTASTIC old-school eyelets and even BRADS to make these 

pups come to life!  YUMMY is RIGHT!  Purrrrrrrr!  Purrrrrr!  Purrrrrrr!

HOT tomato!  {I LOVE that darling face!}

I want to feature EACH and every one and tell you WHY I had SO much fun...

But I "shant" bore you...  BESIDES, I'm pretty sure you can SEE that I had fun!  LOL

Hey, darlin' friends!  It's a sticky situation at Just Us Girls headquarters this week!

Wplus9 Design Studio - June/July Release 2013 - GROUP post!

It thrills me to be a part of Wplus9 Design Studio, on too many levels to possibly express.

It's been YEARS, and Dawn Woleslagle feels like family to me.  I've ridden the waves of

her many, MANY stamp and product releases, and it continues to be a surprising RUSH

of joy and satisfaction.  {I LOVE her vision, her OUTPUT and her constant drive!} So,

I must sound QUITE repetitive, but HONESTLY, is there a higher compliment to Wplus9,

than to declare that everything just gets BETTER with time?!?  I'm SO happy to be involved

with ANOTHER group release  - there is just SOMETHING about seeing the team come

forth with their best of Dawn's products...   AND this is the DAY! 

So, here I go!  SCRAPBOOK PAGE goodness with Wplus9 Design Studio!

 

I LOVE showcasing Dawn's products through different media, especially scrapbooking!

It means and extra amount to me, personally, because stamping was my first "thing!"

QUICKLY, followed by scrapbooking.  When I was new to scrapbooking, I avidly

signed up for classes and bought PRODUCT like there was no tomorrow!  But, as

I hoarded collected supplies - I kept THINKING, why can't I stamp ON my pages?

Local stores carried BOTH stamps and scrapbooking products, but rarely, did the

two "mix."  Finally, I found a class on "stamping in on your scrapbook pages", but

I was devastated, when the first sentence from the instructor's mouth was, "the secret

to stamping on your scrapbook pages is...  there is no secret."

I was CRUSHED.  We "copied" a page she had done, with some stamping here and

there, but it was NOT what I craved.  In the years that followed, I combined the two

AS MUCH AS I POSSIBLY could, and even taught classes AT the same store! 

 I find that Dawn's stamps {AND dies!} translate, flawlessly from card making to scrapbooking! 

They are FUN and easy to use, the various sizes and dimension make them SO useful to customize

backbrounds, create EMBELLISHMENTS and TELL THE STORY!  In this case - the story is

about "Auntie Cow", our beloved friend, and I am DELIGHTED with the results! 

The "secret" to enhancing scrapbook pages with stamping is....  GREAT STAMPS!

And GREAT materials!  Wplus9 Design Studio is ALL that, my friends!  ALL THAT!

Wplus9 Design Studio - June/July Release Day 3

Thanks to Dawn W., and Wplus9 Design Studio - I'm VIVIDLY recalling 

the roots of my deep LOVE of stamping.  Beautiful, MARVELOUS images, 

mine to ink and place as I see fit! SO many possibilities for the creative and

inky-minded....  It's truly a celebration, in my corner of the woods, as I have

been positively LOST in love for stamping & ALL of my glorious supplies!

So, this card, should come as no surprise...  I'm HAPPY!  For me...!  For YOU!

 Of COURSE!  I'm stamping with, and SOON you'll be able to get your hands on these 

babies, too!  YIPEEEEE!  Much, much, ever so MUCH to swoon about!  

 

 I got my WESTERN on, with some of Dawn's latest, Background and Borders 1, 

and Strictly Sentiments 2...  With a tad bit of help from Milk and Cookies and even

and oldie but goodie, a tiny star from Kisses and Cuddles!  {You NEVER know 

what kind of usefulness Dawn's stamps can have - just let your crafting mojo TAKE

you, and sure as shootin', DAWN HAS DESIGNED a STAMP TO HELP you! 

 Psst!  I also added a flower accent from Fresh Cut Florals, BEHIND the lil' star image, stamped 

within a gorgeous border from Background and Borders 1...   I GOT inky, my friends - I'm NOT 

gonna lie!  Feel free to inquire if you need any more information about supplies used! 

For some WAY diverse use of Dawn's amazing stamps, the value of my

MARVELOUS sistas of Wplus9 should not be taken lightly!  I love 

to learn and be inspired by EVERYONE!  I hope you'll give yourself permission

Wplus9 Design Studio - June/July 2013 Release {Day 2}

Welcome back, friends!  Super excited to have your company here, 

for the second day of glorious stamp & tell with my FAVORITE {!} 

stamp company of all time - Wplus NINE! 

 It IS a super SWEET time to be joining us for this DELIGHTFUL offering!  

Sweets & Treats, coordinating dies and Sweets & Treats fillers are SO much

fun to stamp with - I just MAY have sprained my sweet tooth in the process!

FLAWLESS registration and limitless combining is JUST a fingerprint in the frosting, 

but DON'T take my word for it!  AS always, Dawn is serving the MASSES on her blog,

with all of the sinfully delicious details, SAMPLES to swoon for and USEFUL tips and

steps to ensure ANY level of stamper, scrapper, card maker, crafter, designer & artist, 

EVERY bit of inky possibility and THEN some!  Suffice it to say, I enjoyed creating 

with this set, in a raw, joyful, FIRST TIME I EVER KNEW STAMPS COULD BE 

REGISTERED TOGETHER kind of way - it was THAT much fun to make this card! 

 So MUCH fun - I HAD to make another!  

Fresh Cut Florals & Dies - ANOTHER to die for combo!  

I felt romantic and girly - just STAMPING with it!  LOOKING at it = SWOON!  

Some of these images include 3 separate steps {4! if you count the stem!} and

my stamp - lovin' heart can NOT get enough of this set and all of it's "action"!  

Once again, there is a real INVENTORY of materials, available in the Wplus9 store, 

much of which I cannot imagine my stamp room/creative process or OUTPUT, withOUT!  

So, try not to short out your keyboard if you are drooling over some of the older sets/images

featured in this card... It's MOSTLY about the Fresh Cut Florals - TRULY!  Delicious!

SPEAKING of drooling...  {LOL} My darling upon DARLING fellow Wplus9ettes

are BUSY, amazing and MAKING this release shine, somehow brighter than EVER! 

CHECK them out for the MOST outrageous creative splendor....  G'head!
