It is the season of sparkling days and sweet treats, brought to us by

Mother Nature, herself...  But MY FRIEND, DAWN, is pretty amazing,

too....  WAIT until you get a load of what she designed for this latest

release from Wplus9 Design Studios.  Get READY to drool!

We have SUCH a fun release to unveil!  Here are the details of the FIRST set we will be 

delighting you with, Fresh Picked.  {Yes, PLEASE!} So much to make your mouth water

and we're JUST getting warmed up!  Here are the details from Fresh Picked...  drool ON!

Fresh Picked

• is a 6x8 clear photopolymer stamp set

That's RIGHT!  MORE coordinating dies!  {PANT! PANT!} Wow!  If you ask me, 

DAWN is the sweet one!  She knows JUST how to make a crafty girl downright GIDDY!

I love Wplus9 dies for SO many reasons!  They cut beautifully!  They are SO well thought

out, and make it SO easy to get a perfectly placed impression, in ONE shot...  !  But 

one of my favorite aspects of using them is that they sit on the FIRST level of my Sizzix

machine - NO FLIPPING of tabs!  That REALLY rocks my CRAFTY world.  Sometimes, 

in the fury of crafting, I just don't want to try to remember WHAT level of platform I need,
so Wplus9 Design Studio dies are TOPS with me!  {Get it?}

The size and the durability of the steel, inspired me to create a peekaboo image, 

through the top layer of designer paper.  I LOVE this look - so FUNNNNN!

What a GREAT excuse to get inky with one of my ALL TIME
favorite "baby" stamp sets, Kisses & Cuddles from Wplus9
Design Studio - Mwahhhh!  {HOW I love Dawn's stamps!}

But why ink up ONE delightful "baby" set, I used the NEWEST
baby set, Onesie Twosie, for the word, baby...  {!} But check out
the adorable ONESIES and coordinating dies!  HELLO!!!

 

I had a SPARKLY good time with the inspiration photo,

 You won't have to scratch your head too hard, to see how
LITERALLY I was inspired by Vicki's photo...

lot of crafty fun!  I HAD the best time gettin' my GLITTER on with

the use of my GlueGliderPro - and Want2Scrap's new Chipboard
Alphabet letters - Stylish! {Yes, they ARE!}

Using the BACK of a bling pack from Want2Scrap® provides a great, disposable
"work station" for embellishing with GlueArts adhesive.  Tack letters to plastic
wrap, line up as needed.  Run tape across the letters in segments.  Add glitter,
and then repeat, creating luscious, custom glittered words and accents!  By using
an empty Want2Scrap® package, it's easy to tap glitter back into its package,
for re-use.  I simply am wild about the results!

~Hint - if you have some un-glittered spots, dab with wet glue and re-glitter!~

 Just Us Girls are ALL colorful this week, my sweet friends!

 These seasonal colors were easy and FUN to craft with.
I went a shade or two subdued, however.  It's a bittersweet
time around Rancho Durenberger, as we are thinking the
end of the road is near for our beloved, Auntie Cow.  She
is still cheerful and content, but is less and less able to stay
on her feet for long.  Husband has had the honor of this dear
gal's company, for OVER thirty years!  That's VERY old
for a cow, even in CALIFORNIA
 - the land of happy cows...

So, subdued use of color was HOW I rolled this week.
(But I REALLY like the results!}

I hope you'll think some good thoughts for our friend.

Although, it's hard to be terribly sad for a cow, who simply 

MUST be the envy of the local cow community - a REVERED 

pet and companion for OVER three decades -

 always free to roam and graze... 

  

~ Her mother was "MamaCow" the namesake of my blog! ~

Yes, my dear friends, a blessed life, she has surely had. 

I will be praying for a peaceful passing, for a 

dignified lady.   She has been a beautiful bovine companion, and

 a satisfying sight in the grassy acres of Rancho Durenberger.  

Have a MOOOOO-ving day, and thank you for letting me 

share her with you!  (YOU are MOOOOOO-va-lous!)

We're getting SCRAPPY, over at JUST US GIRLS headquarters!

Just in time to celebrate National Scrapbook Day, our beloved Maria

is treating us to a SCRAPILICIOUSLY wonderful time, as the hostess

of the week, offering her beautiful work and stampy incentive to get

super NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY celebration.....!

Our lovely PETALUMA celebrates a spectacular piece of

history, every year, when the town rolls out the vintage

wheels and proud CRUISIN' attitude, as we relive

the filming of American Graffiti, every Spring!  These 

DARLING little moppets, close PERSONAL friends of

mine, helped put this memorable shot into perspective, a

few years back, as we supported our 4H club with 

popcorn & water sales.  THIS is a shot, I plan to incorporate

into my PERSONAL family heritage, so HOW fun for me,

to share the whole kit'n caboodle with y'all!
