JUST a hint of color.....

{Yeah, RIGHT!}

Do you KNOW who I am?

Cock-a-doodle doooooooo!

Yeah, THAT'S right, you can hear MY use of color - about a MILE down the road...!

Just a-squalkin' and bellowing... Well, like THESE guys! {My MUSE!}

Hence, THIS WEEK'S COLOR CHALLENGE at the place where
Just Us Girls rule the roost! {Although, you DON'T have to be a girl to play!}

~Just sayin'....~

Mmmmm, hmmmmm - that's RIGHT! These colors just picked me up
and made me to dance with them! Oh, and the dancing we did..... *sigh!*

Are YOU as addicted to making rosette flowers as I am?
I, literally, have to hold myself back from NOT making
them on EVERY project in my "hopper!" - THEY are
SUCH A GAS TO MAKE! To get my color, even MORE
colorful - I love doing THIS: sponged RAINBOW, before
scoring!!!! Such a fantastic way to up the juice factor!

I decided to make my rosette piece the "stage" for my main characters in this card...
By cutting a similar sized circle from heavy transparency {HAMBLY! *Swoon!* -
so happy to have HOARDED that stuff when I had the chance! Hee Hee!} I got
more support, across the rosette, but maintained the visual impact of the blended
colors! ~ Do you NOT love that duck and rooster from the Farm Fresh collection
of October Afternoon!?! More "thank goodness I hoarded" moments, that I have that
PAPER with the "Rusty the Rooster" story and illustrations! - Meow! I HAD to cut
and water color these cuties for my "friend" story. I'll say that I have SEVERAL friends
with whom I like to crow, quack and cock-a-doodle-do with, from time to time....

Might have to mass produce this one! {Hee Hee!}

But speaking of FRIENDS with whom I like to crow and rejoice with....

Pam
Dana
Kathryn
Andrea
Maria
Lisa

{What a FUN bunch!}

Now, I am going to, SHAMELESSLY, implore you to play with us!

Can't WAIT!

xoxoxo!

Again, you have made a 'home run' card. Just look at those colors, the layers, the paper selection, the EVERYTHING!

I love your chicken card. You've depicted the heart of the chicken... I should know, I've raised them for 15 years. Last one died in July. I really enjoy your blog. Great job! Thanks for the encouragement you left at on my blog.
