Want 2 SCRAP?

Yes, please!

It's Want2Scrap's BIG National Scrapbook Day Blog-Hop EXTRAVAGANZA!

Come and PLAY with us!

You KNOW Want2Scrap - it's your BEST one-stop-shop for BLING
and many THINGS, scrapbook related, and... folks... I GOT busy! But
before we get all into my drippy, unconditional love of da-bling......
Let me share with you some details about this fabulous hop:

Here are the words from the Mother Ship... {GET READY FOR SOME GOODNESS!}

Welcome to the Want2ScrapTM & NestablingTM Blog Hop. This is Want2Scrap's first blog hop, and we are hoping you will have fun, be inspired and maybe even end up with some Want2ScrapTM Goodies! There is no better way of enjoying National Scrapbook Day!

We are offering a Grand Prize of:
  • Chipboard Album
  • Baby Bling
  • 72 Count Rhinestone or Pearl Bling
  • SpellbindersTM Labels 11 Die Template
  • Labels 11 NestablingTM
  • $25 Gift Certificate
There will also be some hidden prizes including
  • Chipboard Album
  • Baby Bling
  • 72 Count Rhinestone or Pearl Bling
Now all you have to do is leave a comment on the Want2ScrapTM blog and each of the design team members blogs...
including our guest designer Julie Tucker- Wolek. You must comment on each blog to be eligible for a prize by Monday @ 4PM EST.

Finally, don't forget the place where blingy design happens, constantly!

Want2Scrap

We are going to start the blog hop off at Heidi Blankenship's blog. So sit back, grab a cup of Java and enjoy the NestablingTM eye candy these talented ladies have to offer and remember to leave a comment on each blog. The prizes will be selected by Random.org. The winners will be posted on May 11, 2011. *After you visit lil' ol' ME, you'll be off to the LOVELY site of my CLOSE, PERSONAL FRIEND.... {Insert the roar of screams and applause!} Dana Gustafson -
Madame Paper Daydream!

Meanwhile... BACK AT THE RANCH... {Lol!} I, FULLY, took advantage of
the opportunity to get ALL blingy! Partaking in some VERY wonderful
supplies, NOT ONLY from Want2ScrapTM, but also with the
wonderful addition of my coordinating NestablingTM sparkly bits AND
Spellbinders dies! {HELLO! Can YOU say "satisfaction!" - I can't get over
HOW fun it is to lay the LOVELY blinged-up shapes, FLAWLESSLY, right
into the coordinating die-cut shapes - YEOWZA! What fun!}.....

{Can you tell where I'm going with this? Heh Heh}

The fact that MOTHER'S DAY {!} is Sunday... And lil' me, without a GIFT for mom
{just YET! *pant*pant!} well, it was rather a slam dunk! I HAD to go there!

But it's hard to think of a true Mother's Day celebration without my dad.
He ADORED her. No. I'm SERIOUS! In the years since we lost him,
I often think of how his love for her DEFINED him. It was VERY special.

So, for my title, I wanted to really punctuate it's meaning...
I created some word art on my computer, to fit with the largest
circle of NestablingTM Heart Circles Pink {that coordinate with
Spellbinder's die S4-316}. I was SO delighted with the way it
looked, it became a theme that I used throughout my layout...

CAUTION: All of these be-jeweled and sparkled up Want2Scrap accents might be
a bit distracting from the rest of the details in this layout, so LET ME GUIDE you
{I WILL be gentle!} to this POSITIVELY exquisite hunk-o-acrylic that serves as
the foundation for this wonderful scrapped up piece of MEMORY KEEPING!

12 x 12 Decorative Sheet Style C - acrylic

{Model: 2111} {MEOW! What a gorgeous SHAPE!}

If you've never dabbled in acrylic scrapbook materials.... HOLD ON!
The possibilities will ASTOUND you! This piece will make a handsome
accent on my mom's giant bookshelf or even RIGHT in her entryway...
I'm getting ALL HAPPY, just picturing it in her home! She'll be all
embarrassed and "aw shucks", but c'mon LOOK AT HER! She'll get over it!

{Hee Hee}

One last, FABULOUS contribution to this page, besides da-bling...

Just a flake or two {!} or maybe a squeeze truck-o-papery goodness
dropped it's bounty with the Want2Scrap DT chicks and EVEN Aunty Cow
got all excited... {Okay. Trust me.} So, it was WONDERFUL to bling up this
absolutely GORGEOUS designer paper, Le Romantique!

{THANK YOU, Graphic 45!}

But MOST of all... I'd like to thank YOU! I'm SO excited to be participating in
this FABULOUS blog hop! I've got some new insoles in my boots, just for the
occasion! I can't WAIT to visit my LOVELY DT companions - I hope you'll enjoy
the views as much as, I know, I will! Furthermore...

I sure hope YOU win!

ENJOY!
