Some WAY-OUT fun with the PDCC!

I'm BEYOND tickled to be designing with the crazy-talented designers from the Play Date Cafe, again, this week! {And I mean CRAZY-talented!} Not only is this a terrific way to be inspired and flex your craft muscles in ways that you NEVER thought they could bend {!}, but I find SO much inspiration from the participants of the cafe! As a collection of crafters - I find them to be WAY artsy and certainly expert purveyors of some of the juiciest materials and unique ideas... So, with that said, you might not be surprised by this week's color CHALLENGE...

This is NOT your ordinary color combo, to say the least!

Now, I probably won't admit this, IRL.... but I think the last time I tried to combine THESE particular colors was EARLY in the 1990's... {But that's all I have to say about that.} For now, I'll just say that SARAH!!!! {Sarah did it!} came up with this extraordinary color CHALLENGE! {Yes, MA'AM!}... Just like last time - I got a little panicked... {"Wait, WHAT!?!" I thought!} So, I swirled some card stock around on my desk top, and SWORE I wouldn't reach for western stamps... {Just don't want to be too predictable... tee hee}... Somewhere in my process was a college flashback, and the stubborn insistence to do something pleasing with these colors... but from there - I grabbed some of my favorite stamps by Dawn Woleslagle,... Ink! Embossing tools... RIBBON! Giddy up, friends! In spite of the strain - I came up with something that I'm not all together unhappy with...

Now, I'm thinkin' "I MEANT TO DO THAT!" {hee hee} It's not a bad little combo, at all, really! Try it! You'll see! In fact, let's see what the insanely fabulous designers from "the CAFE" came up with!

I SURE hope you'll find some time to challenge yourself in a big, big way and PLAY with these exciting colors and this WONDERFUL crowd, over at the Play Date Cafe! Yee Haw!

Hey girl! Wowzers...that combo is a color challenge, for sure. But, ya know what?! I do think it stretched you. There is so much here that is all you, but I see more. I love it. Ya know how I know that?! I keep looking at it. I've been staring at the pics for a bit now and the longer I look, the more I see to look at!! Way to PLAY!!!! :>:>
