Show me the way go go home...

... I'm tired and I wanna go to bed!

{WHOA! Sorry!} I'm exhausted! Somehow the last few weeks of summer have become a continuous (and somewhat unplanned!!!) train of high energy activities with family and friends! Fair, Theme Park, Fair, Concert, Fair, Horse Races, MORE Theme Park, Fair, and .... babies, I'm tired! {Not complaining, mind you - I'm just TIRED!}

Anywhoo, here's an uplifting bit of art and stampy fun to share with ya'll....

The AMAZING, Dawn, of WPLUS9 and Stamp Away With Me fame, has a whole big pile of new stamps to share with the world! In fact, the selection is so amazing, that the ENTIRE design team is joining in for the big count down, until her new releases become available to YOU, you... Y-O-U! She had to delay her releases a little later than normal, due to CHA {Check out her darling post on her adventures there! WHAT fun!}... But the GREAT news is that all of us were able to join in on her pre-release countdown to fun!

Here's my contribution, to emphasize the {FANTASTIC!} artwork and truly comforting sentiments in her "Guiding Light" stamp collection....

I just swooned and gasped with delight over this set. There's not only THIS fantastic lighthouse, Egret {at least I think that's an Egret... but either way, it's one lovely bird!}, reeds and sentiment, but there's a WHOLE lot more to this set, including an entirely different light house, that has the stripes on a separate stamp, so that color can be registered as you like! {Oh, be still my weary heart!} The sentiments are sympathetic and comforting, but these images are extremely scrapbook worthy and VERSATILE with a capital "V!"

SO, my friends, as you can see, I got a lil' busy with the detail scissors, but my favorite bit about this card was the use of water color crayons and then WHITE craft ink, direct to paper, to create the foggy background and perspective... That sort of inspiration is in great supply, here in No. California this week - it's been downright dark & COLD! But I was delighted with the use of light created by the water color crayons - a wonderful compliment to that comforting sentiment - it was just one of those projects where the pieces really fit! {Can I get a YEE HAW or even an AMEN! Depending on which inspires you more! Tee Hee}

Speaking of inspiration!?! {Did somebody, I say, somebody say INSPIRATION?} It is with equal amounts of my OWN excitement to be dazzled by, and my huge honor to be designing with, these fantastic talents... Kindly, click on over to these other AMAZING design girls, showcasing Dawn's new stamps:

...And be ready to add Dawn's latest output of beautiful, useful and inspired images to your wish list of stamping delight! Remember, stamping keeps us sane and wonderful - just sayin'! {hee hee} AS always... I hope you know how delighted I am to have had you stop by... Your comments lift me and comfort in ways, even this card might not be able to express! I love Blogland - THANKS for always making it such a wonderful place!

Can we drive to the coast now for a picnic? Can we go to Point Reyes and climb the 100 or so steps to the lighthouse and back? THis card makes me think I could actually handle sand in my sandwich today! Brilliant!
