All Eyes On... MY MUST HAVES!

There are several craft materials that I cannot live without....

Several HUNDRED, that is!
How wonderful of Dawn {WPLUS9} to inspire us to think about what our most cherished and important tools are...

Here are a FEW tools that without, I, simply could NOT get my craft on...

My DETAIL scissors, a sharp x-acto blade and EMBOSSING plates!

If I was stranded on a desert island and these were all the "tools" I could own, they would certainly be my "must haves"...
But, of course, I'd be nothin' without good STAMPS... Like these:

I made this card, specifically, to feature, some of my MOST favorite ways to spark my creative flow - detail cut images.... A little bit of ink, direct to stamp {the custom colored birdies!}, and, embossed paper to show a whole extra layer of color depth! Since my color motivation for this lil' dandy came from my WONDERFUL friends at the Play Date Cafe..., I just want to say {YUMMMM!} and that a little embossing of the old card stock can really perk up color depth!

{Isn't that a FUN palette!} I had SUCH a great time, guest designing, with these lovely folks last week, I couldn't stay away!!! This was the perfect color combo to let my tools and materials get up and DANCE! I wonder what materials OTHER GALS can't live without... Oh, hey, wait! I have a terrific idea, go check out the rest of Dawn's design team pals and see what they need to get their craft on and I GUARANTEE, it will make you want to do the same!!! I hope so!

Thanks for popping by!

Hey there, Miss Elise!! I immediately knew that those detail scissors just had to be on your must have list...you've been cuttin' & trimmin' up a storm as of late and I just oooo and ahhhh each & every time! :> Lovin' all those leaves cut out so nicely, about as much as I am smilin' at the Playdate Cafe's color choices this week!! Hope you are off into Sweet Dreams already, I'm hoping to get a little shut eye myself tonight (then I might not need four alarms in order to wake up in the morning...like I did today!!! ack! :>). 'See' ya in the morn'! :>
