Don't Hate Me Because It's Not Halloween Anymore!

I KNOW! You've had it with orange and black... What about burgundy!?! And toilet paper... WHAT!?! Ahhhhhhhhhh! Okay, I'm begging forgiveness, but what are you going to do with last minute inspiration?

How 'bout this!

Ooooooooooohhhhhhh! Do you still have it in you to rattle 'dem bones? Tee Hee Apparently, I do! I had some serious tackle to dump ~ especially these fabulous papers by Making Memories! HELLO! AND, what red-blooded-Halloween-lovin' paper crafter wouldn't love this idea...... Creating with toilet paper! I've been playing around with this idea since the Kitchen Sink Girls unveiled their latest challenge.... The use of TP in a card! Ahhhhhhh!

I will spare you tales from all of my experimental efforts, but all I can say is that at the last minute, this sketch from Card Patterns completed my INSPIRATION EFFORTS!

Yeah! Wahoooooooo! I can't explain it, but this made me see this:

I tossed out a WAY old skelly stamp that I embossed in detail white on top of that groovy bat paper from this year's Making Memories Halloween line! Then, utilizing the Card Pattern's sketch, I created the large rectangle image, but let the skeleton legs hang off the bottom by cutting them and the bottom line of the rectangle with detail scissors! I did the same with the little white ghost up on the top left quadrant of the card, just for fun and in compliment to the skelly.... Fun! Good, old fashioned silhouetting! Ahhhhhhh!

Anyway, sweethearts! I must run and link up with these groovy challenges! I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing and creative weekend...

Oh, go on then... just one more Halloween card - especially as it's totally fabulous! This is brilliant, so clever and fun. Great idea to use the TP as a ghostly outline over that cute skelly. Love those papers and how you've used the sketch. Fabulous eye for detail as ever. Thanks for making me smile time after time with your amazing cards and super fun blog! Big hugs to you, Jo x

Let me see, do I mind you making a Halloween card of this caliber after the holiday has passed? Excuse me just a moment, the bat phone is ringing and I have to stir the cauldron before it bubbles over.
